Welcome to Hardanger
Hardanger is a place that’s truly close to my heart.
Here, nature feels closer than anywhere I’ve ever been — towering mountains, deep blue fjords, endless waterfalls, and quiet orchards that burst into bloom each spring. It’s a place that helps me unwind, slow down, and just breathe. Whether I’m hiking to a hidden viewpoint, paddling across still waters, or simply sitting and taking it all in, Hardanger always reminds me what really matters.
And then there are the apple trees — thousands of them lining the fjord, painting the valleys with blossoms in spring and heavy with fruit come autumn. Hardanger is famous for its apples and the crisp, refreshing ciders made right here, often by small local farms that have been around for generations. There’s something special about tasting a glass of cider while looking out over the very orchards it came from.
It all begins with an idea.
